I'm Jamie C., the breeder behind Seafarer located in Florida. Our dogs excel in the ring and as beloved companions. We are very proud of their accomplishments and those of their puppies. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

About Grace
Grace is a female Irish Setter. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Jamie decided to make her part of their program. Jamie has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Irish Setter Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
