I'm Destiny T., the breeder behind Seelenfeuer German Shepherd Dogs located in Guthrie, OK. We are proudly producing working dogs from proven, health tested, and titled breeding stock. Striving to produce a sound dog capable of excelling in various sports.
Q. & A. with Destiny
Why did you start breeding?
My grandparents bred Chinese Sharpeis and I had an opportunity as a Junior handler to live with Debbie Butt of Sportingfields kennels. I have been exposed to reputable breeding ever since I was a young girl and all I wanted was to make a name for myself in the dog world and to produce sound versatile working dogs.
What makes your program special?
I believe my breeding program is special because I have taken the time to thoroughly educate myself regarding my dog's lineage and taken every step on ensuring my pairings are bettering my breeds by advanced health testing, titling, and researching the dogs behind my dogs thoroughly.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include plush, long, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include sable, black, black and tan, and bi-color. German Wirehaired Pointer puppies include liver, liver and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Beeja
Beeja is a female that was slow to mature. Over the last year, it has been such a joy to grow with her from 2 to 3 years old. Her obedience is flashy, her tracking style is intense and her protection work is serious despite her silly personality. She will be actively pursuing her IGP1 and is close to trial ready.
She is an exceptional tracker. That natural ability runs deep in my breeding program.
I would confidently say she is medium drive with medium energy. High prey drive. Exceptional temperment and wonderful environmentals. No same sex aggression issues. Adores all children and has never met a stranger.
If you'd like to see any videos of Beeja at work, don't hesitate to ask.

Breeder-Reported Testing
Excellent level
Seelenfeuer German Shepherd Dogs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Temperament Test, Shoulder Osteochondrosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Spinal Dysraphism (SD), Full Embark Panel, OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
