Meet the breeder

I'm Bria F., the breeder behind Selah Mountain Dogs located in Pagosa Springs, CO. We are a Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, and English Golden Retrievers breeder who focuses our lines on temperament. We use puppy culture, service/therapy lines, and extensive health testing. Our goal is to produce stable, well balances puppies that can fit into family and special needs homes.

Q. & A. with Bria

  • Why did you start breeding?

Originally Linda (grandma and team member) bred Golden Retrievers, which we also still do. We fell in love with Goldendoodle by owning one first. Bria (Linda's daughter and team member) felt it would be a good direction to breed Goldendoodle to help provide dogs to those with dog allergies, and those needs doing that do not shed for special needs purposes.
  • What makes your program special?

We are 100% commited to our program. We breed for health and for temperament. We would rather not breed than produce puppies that are not extremely healthy with sound temperaments. We work a lot with families looking for service, therapy, and ESA dogs. We do temperament testing on all of our puppies with our professional service dog trainer at 7 weeks of age. Our heart is to produce amazing dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, merle, and parti. Cavapoo puppies include red and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
