Selba-Hill Kennelwe

Valerie A.

Breeder of Chinese Cresteds

Meet the breeder

I'm Valerie A., the breeder behind Selba-Hill Kennelwe located in Hot Springs, AR. We offer top show and pet quality Chinese Cresteds. Our dogs are tested via paw print genetics and are vet checked with vaccines. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful and healthy dogs.

Q. & A. with Valerie

  • Why did you start breeding?

We did a lot of research to make sure it was right for us. We tested via Paw Print genetics and then we waited until our first dam got her grand championship certificate. Then we looked for the stud. We acquired him through our mentor who is an established breeder. We couldn’t be more pleased.
  • What makes your program special?

It’s very small and our dogs live in our home. When they are just a few weeks old we begin to socialize with our other adult dogs, cat, rabbit and rats. We socialize with rats because barn hunt is so big now. We think this might give them a leg up in the sport.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
