I'm Jaime J., the breeder behind Sensational Doodles located in San Diego, CA. Our puppies are home-raised and are members of our family from the minute they are born and throughout their entire lives. We breed with a focus on health and temperament, and we have years of experience in preparing puppies for their forever homes. We spend lots of time socializing and training our pups so they will have a great foundation of good behavior and neurological development.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always worked with animals and I geared all of my higher education towards the genetics, biology and psychological tendencies of animals. I began breeding 17 years ago for the absolute love of it. There is hardly a greater pleasure then being able to provide families with an adorable, healthy and loving new furry family member. A companion that provides unconditional love no matter what.

  • What makes your program special?

    I pride myself on rearing healthy, affectionate and behaviorally well rounded puppies. Not only am I professionally trained to notice the most minute changes in health and behavior, making sure that my litters are always in optimal health, I am also a professional trainer of many different animal species. These advanced qualifications make Sensational Doodles breeding program and puppies unique.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jaime

Jaime has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jaime partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

“I take great pride in matching my puppies with the right forever home for them. My goal is to make sure that the puppy's temperature and energy match their new family and their life style to the best of my abilities. This ensures my puppies the best chance to thrive in their new homes. I begin the selection process once their personalities begin to show, between 4-6 weeks. At this age you can generally start to see which puppies are going to be more bold and which will be a little more reserved. Their actual personalities become more apparent around 7 weeks.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes vaccinations (current for the puppies age at the time of going home), deworming and puppy socialization. Your deposit will reserve your puppy of choice or it will reserve you a place in line for choosing your puppy. Order of choice is determined by order of deposit.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
