I'm Cindy P., the breeder behind Seven Pines Stabyhouns located in Duncansville, PA. My dogs are bred for genetic diversity while maintaining health and working ability set forth by the breed standard. My goal is to produce a great representation of the Stabyhoun and to continue improving the line with each generation. I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on his or her family.
Q. & A. with Cindy
Why did you start breeding?
I found out about a rare breed—the Stabyhoun. I fell in love with their beauty and brains. They are wonderful with children and other animals in addition to being an all-around working dog.
What makes your program special?
I research pedigrees, DNA, health, and temperament before breeding. All of the puppies are raised in my home and are highly socialized to sights, sounds, surfaces, and people till they go to their forever homes. My passion for this breed is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
