I'm Betty K., the breeder behind Shakers located in Napoleon Township, MI. I have been in the breed for 35 years. All dogs are OFA. Puppies are house raised, temperament tested, given shots, wormed, & microchipped. Puppies all have great time as well as the parents. They all have prey drive. Loves the pool and toys and people. I love this breed. So loyal,smart and loving.

Why did you start breeding?
When I was young I had the most loving and loyal dog. She was also so smart. I got hooked on the breed.
What makes your program special?
I X-ray every dog I keep. I keep up with the vet on health. I offer that any dog or puppy be return to me if it doesn’t work out. They are all raised with love. I offer my knowledge of the breed anytime. All parents are hips n elbows certified. Puppies are home raised and vet checked. Shots and worming are included. I give a guarantee.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have plush coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
