Shaw Springs

Sarah S.

Breeder of Goldendoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah S., the breeder behind Shaw Springs located in St. Louisville, OH. Each puppy is DNA tested to determine shed level/coat type! I believe that consistent, early interaction is key to a successful companion dog. It helps to develop that animal to human bond as they learn to trust and enjoy the company of "us" two legged beings.

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've studied canine behavior for over 25 years (I won my first distinction award for a project on dog behavior when I was only 8 years old!). K-9 behavior is my real passion. I was nearly fatally attacked by a dog just after I turned 8. I decided to not let that dampen my love for animals so I began studying k-9 behavior to educate others and hopefully prevent situations like mine in the future!
  • What makes your program special?

I'm a very small breeder, producing 1-3 litters yearly. I spend an incredible amount of time on socialization and basic training to ease puppy's transition into their new home. I DNA test each puppy shortly after birth to determine their projected degree of shedding so that my families with dander allergies get matched with the perfect pup! https://www.shawspringscanines.com/what-makes-us-special
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
