Meet the breeder

I'm Sheila A., the breeder behind Sheez-Beez Kennel located in Forest City, NC. I am an AKC Judge, and I have been breeding and showing dogs since 1974. I have many people that are on their 4th and 5th dog from me. I feel so honored to have such a loyal puppy family. But it is no coincident, it is because I do everything I can to ensure the puppies have everything they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs.

Q. & A. with Sheila

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started in GSD and had a good friend that was a breeder and my mentor. She also had Smooth Fox Terriers and got me started there. The rest is history some 40+ years later.
  • What makes your program special?

I have always prided myself on healthy, long-lived dogs. I breed for show dogs for myself and have mentored many others along the way. People who get at Sheez-Beez dog become family and I stay in touch for the life of the dog and beyond.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
