Q. & A. with Melissa
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding and showing when I got my first show dog in 1997. I was hooked from then on. I then wanted another sporting dog to hunt with then we got German Wirehairs.
What makes your program special?
All of our pups are raised in the house and thoroughly socialized. I have been doing this for so long that I can look at a dog and figure what pedigree their lines came from. We screen all of our puppy people with a fine-toothed comb. I am always happy to help my buyers find their perfect companion.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies are liver and white. German Wirehaired Pointer puppies are liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
