Meet the breeder

I'm Sara F., the breeder behind Simply Beautiful Goldendoodles located in Ottawa, OH. I raise dogs for companionship and therapy services. My dogs are part of the family. We breed for health, temperament, and beauty. 15 year's experience Knowledgeable in multiple areas of genetic testing. We offer a curriculum-based breeding program.

Q. & A. with Sara

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after falling in love with Goldendoodles. I spent 2 years researching their history, characteristics, and genetics to figure out "what makes these dogs so great". I then started my program with one dog from a responsible breeder. That breeder did complete testing so I had my dog tested. I had my first litter and kept a puppy. It's all history from there!
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is special because of the way I raise my dogs. They are all family members. I don't utilize kennels. They are raised around other dogs and in our home. I also have a great Facebook page with a lot of followers. I believe it's important for people to see the family interact with the dogs and puppies. Many of my dogs have gone on to do therapy work. We also use Embark as our genetic testing company. They screen for 176 diseases on our breeding dogs. They are also promoted by the AKC.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
