I'm Yalette A., the breeder behind Sisukas Valo Lapponian Herders located in Alpharetta, GA. At Sisukas Valo Lapponian Herders, I am dedicated to preserving the Lapponian Herder (Lapinporokoira). My goal is to produce healthy, sound dogs with correct structure, stable temperaments, and breed-recommended health testing while preserving the breed's purpose and standard. Shown in AKC FSS & UKC.

Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding grew from my love for the Lapponian Herder and a desire to help protect its future. As I became more involved with the breed, I learned how important thoughtful, responsible breeding is to preserving its health, temperament, structure, and working abilities. That inspired me to build a breeding program where every pairing is carefully planned with the long-term future of the breed in mind.What makes your program special?
Every breeding is thoughtfully planned with the future of the Lapponian Herder in mind. I prioritize breed-recommended health testing, stable temperaments, correct structure, and preserving the qualities that define the breed. Puppies are raised with early socialization and carefully evaluated before being matched with the home that best fits their temperament, personality, and each family's goals. My goal is to help preserve the Lapponian Herder while producing healthy, confident, and well-rounded dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Yalette
Yalette has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Yalette partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Price
“Price includes AKC registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, DNA testing, early socialization, and a puppy packet. Pet/Sport homes receive limited registration. Show prospects may be offered on co-ownership. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your place in the litter and is applied to the $3,000 purchase price. Puppies are matched to homes after evaluations at about 8 weeks based on temperament.”
