



I'm Susan S., the breeder behind Sliding S Australian Shepherds located in Caldwell, ID. Our dogs come from a long line of Champion Working Aussies. We choose males that have a strong working instinct with natural talent and are health tested to produce sound dogs. I prefer selling to working and performance homes but will consider pets if the proper criteria are met.

Nash is an accomplished stockdog in the arena and on the ranch when he lived in Canada. He is a character with tons of personality. He has strong toy and food drive. When working stock, he prefers to hit heads but will hit heels on occasion. He is a gentleman and gets along with most dog's male and female.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
