Meet the breeder
I'm Gabrielle S., the breeder behind Smithfield Park located in Kingston, TN. Our dogs and pups are raised in our home and are loved as family. We strive to produce high-quality show prospects and companions. We enjoy showing our dogs, and they are our companions in every adventure. We are invested in Whippets and in helping the breed thrive. We do all that we can to give our puppies the best lives, including proper health care, thorough socialization, and finding them each wonderful, loving homes.

What makes your program special?
Our Whippets are our pets; they live in our home, sleep with our children, and are loved on and played with every day. When we travel, they go with us. Our puppies are born in our bedrooms and are raised in our living room; they are a part of everything we do. Once old enough, we take them to town with us and meet folks at local outdoor eateries and parks — the human kind, NOT dog parks.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue fawn, white and fawn, white and fawn brindle, and fawn brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Litter update on 26 Apr •Our trip with Ricardo Friday required a snuggle session before we got back on the road at both his and the baby’s demand.

Program update on 21 Apr •…Leonard was ready for some serious snuggles and napping after their morning playtime today. Puppies are on a pretty consistent schedule and are doing well with lead work. It’s such a joy to cuddle up with them or watch running full tilt after one another. Such a bunch of affectionate goof balls. 🤗

Litter update on 01 Apr •…We’re loving these puppies! They are so fun and playful, and all have such sweet personalities. They’ve grown up so quickly, this week they start to go to their new homes. We’ll enjoy these last unreserved 3 until they find their perfect matches. ☺️

Litter update on 28 Mar •…Aramis woke up before his brothers this evening and was a bouncy little ball of silly. (After going potty outside, of course, because these puppies have been accident free for weeks. They are perfect gentlemen and ask to be taken out every time.)

Litter update on 28 Mar •…Having puppy fun in the play house this evening with the Howard’s End litter. Soon half of these guys (and little ladies) will be heading to their new homes and we will miss them! These puppies are all SO sweet, and there are some absolute charmers and feisty pixies this mix.

Litter update on 23 Jan 2025 •…Weather warmed up enough for some outdoor lead training and puppy-play-time in the orchard. Everybody is starting to taking their litter box training and apply it on our walks, which is a big step in the right direction.

About Violet
Violet is a gentle, sweet girl and an incredible beauty. She makes heads turn everywhere she goes and she looks so like her grand-dam, it’s like I get to see a glimpse of her every once in a while in this gentle soul. [Due to my being separated from my personal files I do not currently have access to her records, but the few pieces of photos I have I have shared, as well as the dates and examiners of her most recent health tests. Please contact me with any questions in this regard, and I hope that my treating with my other dogs will testify to my honesty in this.]

Prim is a female Whippet about 7 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Gabrielle decided to make her part of their program. Gabrielle has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

About Manca
Out of all those who visits our home, nearly everyone’s favorite is Manca. She’s perfectly even-keeled, quiet, polite and here for every pet she can get. Manca has been my children’s hot-water bottle and is a dear friend to my littlest girls. This is now our second litter out of her and her puppies are just so special— we’re so grateful to have her and to her to enjoy her sweet spirit!

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
