I'm Krista S., the breeder behind Smoker Goldens located in Gap, PA. We’re so excited to help families experience the joy of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We strive to produce healthy, intelligent, emotionally resilient puppies. Our puppies are well socialized and receive our best care.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Growing up, we always had a golden retriever as our family pet. I’m still partial to goldens for their friendly, sweet, trusting personalities! We have found that a mini golden doodle combines the lovely personality of a golden with the smaller size and less shedding of a miniature poodle, making the perfect family pet.

  • What makes your program special?

    We care deeply about raising emotionally resilient puppies who feel good about the world around them. We implement ENS, ESI, intentional body handling, noise desensitization, etc, as part of our breeding program. We reserve the right to decline a family if they do not seem to be a good fit for our puppy. We are committed to always using responsible practices to breed, train, and re-home our puppies.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, red, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Krista

Krista has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"All our puppies will have had their first round of vaccinations and will have been dewormed. They will go home with their vet health check papers and a 60 day health guarantee, as well as a Snuggle Puppy, puppy food, and a blankie with littermate’s scent."

Krista may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
