I'm Marcy H., the breeder behind Snake River Pomskys located in Blackfoot, ID. We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I quit my cooperate job to take care of her. I needed something I could do from home. I has always wanted to breed horses, but that wasn't going to work out for what I needed. I decided I wanted a Pomsky and with encouragement from a great mentor I started breeding Pomskys. My first year was unsuccessful, but we finally had our first litter 7 years ago. It's been the best decision I've made in my life. The dogs and puppies were great for my grandmother.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, chocolate, merle, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Marcy

Marcy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $3,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies will be IPA registered. Come with health check first vaccinations and wormer. 1 year guarantee against genetic defects. Microchipping..We will also include a puppy pack.. We have added a 30 day pet insurance through Trupanion as well. Deposit and delivery are included I'm the final price of the pup.”

Marcy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
