I'm Megan S., the breeder behind Snellgrove Farms located in Georgia. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We have been owned by bassets for 10 years. Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

We wanted to share our love of the breed with others. We enjoy introducing new people to the wonders of basset hounds.What makes your program special?
We are all hands on with our babies from pregnancy to birth and meeting their new families. We only have 1 litter a year and treat our dogs as important members of our family. We love seeing our babies grow upWhere do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Megan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Price includes CKC registration, 1 set of shots, 1 year health guarantee and pedigree. $200 non refundable deposit required to hold the puppy of your choice.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
