I'm Colleen R., the breeder behind Snowcrest Jack Russell Terriers located in Flagstaff, AZ. We put a great deal of thought into each litter, our goal being to produce the best puppies that we can, knowing that many of them will be cherished members of a family.We strive for excellence in all disciplines, with a focus on temperament, structure and working ability. All dogs are OFA tested.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    In 1991 I met my husband, a custom gun manufacture and avid handgun hunter. After an introduction to terriers, it didn't take long for Gary to fall in love with this big dog, wrapped tightly in a small package.
  • What makes your program special?

    We put a great deal of thought into each litter, our goal being to produce the best puppies that we can, knowing that many of them will be cherished members of a family.We strive for excellence in all disciplines, with a focus on temperament, structure and working ability. Snowcrest terriers are registered with the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA).
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy. If you see a planned litter that interest you, feel free to call or email for more information. When a puppy is available and agreed upon. Then a deposit $200.00 deposit is made.”

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), JRTCA Registry

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Spinocerebellar Ataxia (SCA), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)
