Why did you start breeding?
always had a deep respect for working dogs and spent years running hog dogs. When I made the decision to step away from that, I knew I still wanted to stay connected to dogs with drive, purpose, and strong instincts. That’s when I found my way to the Basset Hound—a breed known for its unmatched nose, calm nature, and loyalty.What makes your program special?
Health and temperament are my top priorities. All breeding dogs are vet-checked, vaccinated, and well-cared for with a focus on both physical and mental wellness. I breed only from registered, healthy adults with sound structure and calm, affectionate dispositions. My male stud, Roper, is trained in tracking, adding working ability to the pups he sires.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Taylor
Taylor has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $100 - $200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
