I'm Lluvia S., the breeder behind Sommer Standards & Chinese Cresteds located in Ocala, FL. It is our goal to help ensure the future of the breed through responsibly breeding our exceptional dogs. Our breeding program stands out because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. From researching breeding pairs and conducting health testing, to purposefully raising each pup with proper socialization and care, our goal is to help preserve this historic breed.

What makes your program special?
As a lifelong dog lover, I am passionate about the breeds I love and matching them with the perfect families that will continue to make them thrive. I offer (as any breeder should) a lifetime of support as a member of my puppy family. All puppies are raised in my home (not a kennel), with puppy culture, and are temperament evaluated by myself to ensure the best match.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Lluvia
Lluvia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes AKC prepaid registration, vaccinations, deworming, and an AKC Reunite microchip. This deposit is an apart of the total price of the puppy, and will hold them until pickup. Should you decide otherwise, the deposit is not refundable, but transferable to a future litter.”
Contract & health guarantee
Lluvia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 3 (rcd3)
