I'm Kristy K., the breeder behind Sonsteby located in Menifee, CA. My mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companion pets and possible competitors in AKC EVENTS. I have protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of my dogs. It’s my top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding to maintain and when possible to improve the Breed according to both the American whippet Club and AKC standards. I try to create a beautiful whippets that are both sound in body and mind.What makes your program special?
I make sure that my puppies come from health tested parents and very important good temperaments to make life of my dogs as companions the best that they can be.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and blue brindle, white and red brindle, white and fawn, white and red, red, fawn brindle, black, fawn, blue fawn, black brindle, blue brindle, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
