Meet the breeder

I'm Stephen, the breeder behind South Paw Doodles located in Greer, SC. At South Paw Doodles, we are not a high-volume breeder. We focus on limited, carefully planned litters, allowing us to give each puppy individualized attention, early socialization, and structured developmental care inside our home.

Q. & A. with Stephen

  • Why did you start breeding?

We made the decision after much discussion. We are both "business-minded" people, and believe this would be an excellent opportunity to build a business based on something we are passionate about: Medium Goldendoodles. In this way, we can share this enthusiasm and joy of the breed with other families!
  • What makes your program special?

Our foundation dam, Miss Bo, set the standard for our program. She underwent comprehensive genetic testing through Paw Prints Genetics and rigorous OFA certifications for hips, joints, and cardiac health. Her structure, temperament, and non-shedding coat established the qualities we continue to prioritize today. Our current dam, Miss Scarlett corries the same legacy.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
