I'm Elise J., the breeder behind Southern Charm Cavapoos located in Locust Grove, GA. Southern Charm Cavapoos is dedicated to raising the perfect addition to your family with emphasis combing the best of the health, temperament and personality traits of both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Miniature Poodle. BOTH Sire and Dam have been EMBARK tested for any genetic health problems and are CLEAR. Both breeds are known for their companionship, loyalty, and gentleness. They also get along well with children and other dogs. Be assured that your puppy will be well socialized by the time you meet. They are raised in my home with constant care and handling. Be assured they will be “lap and cuddle ready” for their forever home!

Why did you start breeding?
When I got my first Cavaliers (its almost impossible to have just one!) my friends and family all wanted one so on a limited basis, I managed to have a litter or two for the next 18 years - and all placed though AKC or "word of mouth"! After reading and hearing about the Cavapoos, I recently decided to breed my female Cavalier to a magnificent miniature poodle and am so incredibly proud of my first litter!What makes your program special?
My main concerns revolve around health and temperament. Before breeding, the Sire and Dam were EMBARK tested for any genes that indicate a genetic abnormality or inherited health issue. Be assured that by the time you meet the puppies will be well socialized! This includes exposure to other dogs, all ages of children, loud sudden noises, the vacuum, and the like. Since they live in my home, there is a lot of playtime and snuggles individually and together. In all, I strive to ensure that you will have the best experience as possible with the new member of your forever family!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include merle, red, tri-color, blenheim, black and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"This price includes vet check, first shots and de-worming. Also, a new puppy kit including food, vet records, soft toy with Abby's scent and information on their current schedule. I am also available after you receive your new puppy for any questions you may have! Deposit will hold the puppy you choose."

Program update on 19 Mar •9 beautiful puppies are here! 8 all wearing their white tuxedo markings. There are 3 gleaming black, 1 gorgeous red, 1 sparkling white with a black mask and spots, and 4 stunning merle! I'll update with which are boys and girls and group photo soon. They are healthy and weighed from 6 to 8 oz. Abby is doing great. She is an amazing mom!

Litter update on 13 Dec 2024 •…Puppies have arrived! There are 3 boys and 5 girls. The boys are merle, cream and black and white. The girls are golden, dark red, 2 merle and white with Blenheim markings. More individual photos to come!

Abby is a female Cavapoo almost 4 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Elise decided to make her part of their program. Elise has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Elise was so lovely to work with! It was apparent from our first interaction with her that she truly cared about these puppies. Our sweet little pup has the best disposition, and to me, that shows he was given a lot of love during the first ten weeks of his life. Elise was also available to answer questions. From my first phone call to Elise to the time we picked up Nessa….It has truly been a pleasure. Elise took the time to talk to me about the breed and explain the history which I found very fascinating. She takes pride in her puppies and their lineage.
