I'm Aly O., the breeder behind Southern Haven Doodles located in West Monroe, LA. Our dogs are bred for heath, quality and structure as well as focusing on great temperaments. We like to make sure the puppies are paired with the right home that meets their personalities. All our babies are DNA & genetically health tested and OFA cleared.
Q. & A. with Aly
Why did you start breeding?
We purchased our very first puppy back in 2017 who wound up having a lot of health issues and the breeder completely blocked us when voicing our concerns. Our sweet baby passed away before he reached a year and 1/2. Which got us wanting to produce healthy and quality babies so no one else had to go through what we went through.
What makes your program special?
We thrive and focus on health testing and OFA cleared, quality babies. All of our babies come with genetic health guarantees. We also start crate training and temperament testing prior to puppies going home to help match the perfect puppy for your family 🫶🏼
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
