I'm Candy P., the breeder behind Southern Oaks Kennel located in Pavo, GA. Dogs and horses are our passion. My husband Bret and I live on a 60+ acre farm in South Georgia with our Bassets, Cavaliers, Mastiffs, and Quarter Horses. Our dogs enjoy experiencing farm life and the outdoors with us as our family operates Southern Oaks Kennel and Parrish Quarter Horses, Inc. We are second-generation horse trainers and multi-generational dog lovers and breeders. Our goal is to raise healthy, happy puppies to the breed standard for families to love and enjoy as pets or for show homes. All our puppies come with AKC registration and are up to date on vaccinations and deworming.

My wife and I were astonished at cleanliness of the kennel for starters. Candy was very approachable and friendly. My puppy looked so happy and healthy we felt good right away and knew we made the right choice. All paperwork is in order and neatly prepared for you loaded with great, important information concerning your new puppy. Spend the extra and make the trip to Southern Oaks Kennel, you won’t regret it!!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
