Meet the breeder

I'm Georgia B., the breeder behind Southern Sunshine Doodles located in Big Stone Gap, VA. Our dogs are raised in our home as family, not kennels. Puppies receive daily handling, early socialization, and exposure to normal home life. We prioritize health, temperament, ethical breeding, and lifelong support.

Q. & A. with Georgia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve always been a lifelong dog lover, and over the years I realized I wanted to share that joy with others. Starting with my own doodles, I fell in love with the process of raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies. Breeding became a way to combine my love for dogs with my commitment to responsible care, ensuring every puppy gets the best start and goes to a loving, fur-ever home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include silver, apricot, phantom, chocolate, cream, brown, brindle, parti, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
