Due May 2026
I'm Dayna P., the breeder behind SouthernStar Kennels located in Reddick, FL. SouthernStar Kennels is a small family-owned and operated Alaskan Malamute breeding facility located in the Horse Capital of the World, AKC, sunny Marion County, Florida. We only breed select litters using carefully selected, top-quality breeding pairs, and focus on producing quality.
Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?
Dayna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Included with your puppy are a crate, dishes, a collar, lead, chew toys, treats, and other assorted items that puppy owners need. Microchip/Registration is done prior to leaving. Colors and genders are all the same price. The price goes up as age goes up.”
Dayna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Dayna offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Dayna directly.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Dayna.

About Drama
Just like big sister Zia, and Charger, Drama came to us from Aventuras en Alaska Kennels in Kharkov, Ukraine. Drama may be smaller than Zia and Charger, but her attitude and mouth are much larger than theirs. She lives up to her name, for sure. She is the biggest drama queen around. She is mouthy, sassy, backtalky, and an all around attitude, but she is also sweet and loving and tries her best to behave and do what she is supposed to. She loves to learn new skills and loves to do anything involving spending time with the family.

About Charger
Charger came to us from Aventuras En Alaska Kennels in Kharkov, Ukraine. He was already accomplished in the show rings before we got him as a 2 year old. He earned a Vize win at the 2021 World Dog Show, a Vize win at the 2021 European Dog Show, a Vize win at the 2021 Grand Prix Show, and qualified for the 2022 Crufts Show. He is also a 3x Ukrainian JR GRCH. He is fully health tested above and beyond what the AMCA requires for a CHIC title. Copies of all diplomas and certificates are available on request. Charger is all heart, and a huge teddy bear. He loves to give hugs to everyone he sees, and does not have an aggressive bone in his body. He is a bit sassy, but not as bad as the girls. He loves learning new things and loves life in general. He is standing at stud now that his health testing is complete and transfered to the US.
