I'm Christine Y., the breeder behind Spellbound German Shepherds located in Branchburg, NJ. Our dogs are bred first and foremost for sound temperament and structure and characteristics based on the AKC Breed standard. Special care was given on deciding on this litter, starting with a wonderful, proven stud dog. The focus was to produce great temperament, health and proper structure. In addition to the foundation objectives, we strived to produce dogs who will excel in the conformation ring in addition to dogs who are intelligent and athletic to perform other jobs they were bred to do.

Why did you start breeding?
I became involved in breeding after acquiring my current German Shepherd female from my preservation breeder and obtaining her AKC Championship and Grand Championship conformation titles in addition to her Herding Instinct Certificate and NACSW Nosework 1 (NW1) and Nosework 2 (NW2) titles.What makes your program special?
I have a deep passion for the German Shepherd Dog. I take very seriously the preservation and betterment of the breed. Much time and care was taken on deciding on the stud dog, the stud dog owner, health testing for both parents, what areas could use improvement and how to achieve those goals. My first and foremost concern is the care and wellbeing of my dogs and the puppies I help create.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

About Lilah
Lilah is an intelligent, beautiful black and tan girl who has been successful in the conformation show ring and has been praised for her lovely movement. Lilah spends a lot of time doing nosework/scentwork which she loves. Lilah also is a strong swimmer and likes to hike out in nature. Lilah has also been started in herding sheep.

Hip Dysplasia
