Meet the breeder

I'm Shanna S., the breeder behind Spraggins Sweet Acres located in Montrose, MI. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our dogs have proven to be the greatest companions to our family. We started breeding to contribute to breed betterment and to share smart and loveable puppies with other families.

Q. & A. with Shanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

We fell in love with our first goldens growing up and knew we wanted to raise healthy, cute pups
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are all members of the family. Every puppy spends 8 weeks being loved on by us. We breed for temperament and health
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are black rust and white. Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.
