I'm Betty S., the breeder behind S&S American Bassets located in Dover, AR. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, standard, and intelligence. I DO NOT breed European bloodlines. Puppies will be started on potty training before they go home.

Why did you start breeding?
My mom was a breeder, so I grew up around it. I got to help with the birth and the care of mom and pups. 20 years ago, I decided I wanted to be a breeder, and I've been doing it ever since. It's truly my passion.What makes your program special?
I put my Heart and Soul into my dogs and their babies. When the puppies go home, I stay available 24/7 for my puppy families. I'm always available for any cares or concerns, no matter how big or small.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include mahogany and white, lemon and white, and brown black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Betty
Betty has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Betty partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
Price
"Price includes Health and Genetic Guarantee, registration papers, first round of vaccinations, deworming, vet records, a generous puppy pack that includes food, and a blanket that's been rubbed on mom and siblings. Puppies will also be microchipped. The deposit is Non-Refundable, unless something happens on my end. In that case you will be offered your deposit back, you can choose a different pup if one is available, or you can put your deposit towards a future litter."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
