I'm Shelly J., the breeder behind SS Goldendoodles located in Jacksonville, OR. We are not some big operation that is overbreeding puppies. We are a loving family with multi-gen goldendoodle puppies that come from a great heritage!
Q. & A. with Shelly
Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding Goldendoodles began with our love for the breed itself. After welcoming our first doodle into the family, we were struck by their intelligence, affectionate nature, and joyful spirit. Wanting to give her a companion, we later added a second doodle, and together they became the heart of our home. Their wonderful temperaments inspired us to begin carefully and responsibly breeding, with the goal of sharing these same qualities with other families. Each pairing is chosen with health, temperament, and trainability in mind, so our puppies grow into well-adjusted, loving companions. Together, they have 7 beautiful boy puppies. All BOYS! Can you believe it?
What makes your program special?
Our mission is to raise Goldendoodles with outstanding health, temperament, and companionship qualities. We believe every puppy deserves the very best start in life, and every family deserves a doodle that brings joy, comfort, and unconditional love into their home.
What makes our program special is the intentional care behind every step. Our parent dogs are health-tested, well-trained, and part of our family — not just breeding dogs. Puppies are raised in a loving, hands-on environment where they are socialized from day one in a busy family household. They are gently introduced to household sights and sounds, and nurtured with early training practices that build confidence and resilience.
We are deeply committed to responsible, ethical breeding and focus on producing well-adjusted Goldendoodles who are not only beautiful and intelligent, but also loving, loyal companions for life.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
