Tamsen was great! Super amazing with communication and fast to respond, it was so easy to set up a meeting time and travel information and she even trained the puppy to be used to his airplane crate before he had to fly. Highly recommend this breeder and huge thanks for helping me add an amazing little guy to our family. He is very smart and has a huge personality but overall is amazingly potty trained as soon as he got home with us. Thank you!

From the first reach-out to the many questions that followed, Tamsen responded very quickly and directly to everything I asked. She gave me confidence that I was talking to someone truly engaged in her puppies and their futures. She was also very accommodating with both the pickup location and the time that worked best for us. Tamsen has a calm way about her, which solidified why our new puppy, Maple, is amazing in so many ways. This little bundle of fluff has been a dream from the minute we picked her up. I wanted to wait a few days before writing a review so Maple had time to decompress in her new surroundings and complete her first vet check yesterday — which she passed with flying colors! The vet and staff were impressed by how calm and trusting Maple was through the entire process. Having had litters myself in the past, I know this comes from the breeder (and their family) spending quality time working with the puppies. Maple is incredibly kind and not a biter like most puppies are at 8 weeks old. My 8-year-old granddaughter carried her around and played with her, and not once did Maple nibble — just calm love and patience. Maple has also amazed us with potty training. From day one, after being shown the yard, she gives a small whine at the door when she needs to go out. She’s only had one small accident by the door on the third day, and honestly, that was my fault for not listening quickly enough. This pup is absolutely beautiful and smart! She already has a great nose at this young age. While taking a nap on my deck, a squirrel appeared nearby. Even in her sleep, Maple caught the scent, woke up, and looked directly toward where the squirrel had been. She’s brave yet cautious while exploring her yard and home, using that keen nose constantly. She’s already fetching with great recall, only chews on things I’ve specifically given her, and consciously chooses those over the many other tempting puppy distractions around the house. She learned “leave it” almost immediately — taught only in a soft, low tone — which is incredible at this age! If she’s exploring in the yard and starts toward something she shouldn’t have, I simply say “leave it,” and she immediately stops, recalls to me, and sits in front of me. Is she a trained adult in a baby body? Lol! I can’t say enough positive things about Tamsen Stackhouse and the work they’ve done with their pups to help ensure success in their futures. I can easily see these dogs becoming future search dogs, hunting dogs, obedience dogs, or simply loyal companions to have by your side.

Tamsen is wonderful to work with. We drive to Oregon from Nevada and she made picking up our pup convenient and fun. Little Flo has settled right in with our family. She has had no accidents in the house and she took herself outside without prompts this morning. Tamsen recommended this pup as she is curious, calm and confident, I know she will grow to be a great dog and lovely close friend. The take home bag with a blanket that smelled like Mom and appropriate chew toys is very appreciated. She sleeps through the night in her bed and did not whine more than a few seconds in her kennel. Dream Pup!

Tamsen was amazing! She was super super responsive, any questions I had no matter what time it was she always answered so thoroughly within such reasonable time. I was always super hesitant to trust a dog breeder anywhere but she made sure I got pictures, and even made the transportation process a breeze. I am so in love with my boy I couldn’t be happier. I couldn’t have imagined working with anyone else for this. Thank you a million times over Tamsen!!

She crate trained like a breeze and handles potty training almost perfect. She is so beautiful and has a wonderful conformation. Smart as can be and she follows me everywhere. Beautiful coat which shows good food was provided while growing up.

Tamsen was an absolute pleasure when it came to picking up our pup. From the moment we selected our pup she sent us weekly updates and pictures. She was extremely responsive in every question we had. She also was very punctual with pick up location and time. Truly enjoyed working with Tamsen and would highly recommend this breeder to anyone!
