I'm Laurie B., the breeder behind Stardust American Eskimo Dogs located in Texas. We breed and show top-quality American Eskimo Dogs. Our dogs excel both in and out of the show ring. As breeders, we are stewards of the future of the American Eskimo Dog breed, so we are careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
