Meet the breeder

I'm Bonita A., the breeder behind Stargirl Bernese Mountain Dogs located in Fountain, NC. I am a veterinarian and have owned Bernese mountain dogs for 32 years! I have imported most of my dogs from outstanding European kennels and I focus on producing healthy long-lived dogs with excellent temperaments. I health tests all my dogs and do temperament testing on puppies to help families choose the perfect dog for their family. I provide a health guarantee and life-long support. Visitors are welcome. All my dogs live in my house, and are never rehomed. Puppies are raised in my bedroom and have extensive socializing. Many of my puppies have become service dogs as they are quite intelligent and eager to please.
