I'm Agi H., the breeder behind Starhaven Kennel located in Virginia. We have been involved with Kuvasz for 50 years and Leonberger for 30. We breed seldom to ensure each breed receives proper attention and to ensure a good life for our breeding dogs. We spend a lot of time interviewing families. We take high priority in placing each puppy within the perfect home.

Why did you start breeding?
I had been involved with my first breed for 13 years before I bred my first litter. The only way to get the best show dog is to breed it yourself. That is how I got into breeding.What makes your program special?
My dogs are bred with the AKC standard in mind and with special attention to temperament.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
