Q. & A. with Debra
Why did you start breeding?
Years ago, I bred Minature Schnauzers. Loved the breed, but was looking for a different breed. I researched and found Weimaraners to be what I was looking for. We acquired our first Weimaraner (no papers) and loved her! When we decided on getting another, I had decided I wanted to show and found a wonderful breeder. I was able to get a Grand Champion title on this girl (Winnie), then decided I wanted to breed her, in hopes of keeping a puppy. That is what I did, and we have Rita, who also has a GCH title, but also some other titles including, Junior Hunt, beginner Agility, Temperament testing, DCAT title (FastCAT), and Farm Dog.
Rita is now a mother to 8 beautiful puppies!
What makes your program special?
I only have occasional litters, and I'm selective about what male I'm using for breeding. I breed for temperament, conformation, and performance. I do all the health testing on my dogs, recommended by the parent club.
When you purchase a puppy, I will give a health guarantee and a binder full of information, including a great training book.
I am always available for questions, and LOVE to stay in touch with puppy buyers.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are silver gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
