Why did you start breeding?
I didn't choose the breeder life. The breeder life chose me. Our foundation matron Pretty Penny was well loved by everyone who saw her hunt or compete in field trials and I was told in no uncertain times that that dog needed to be bred to pass on her incredible genetics. So I did the health testing and found a great stud and my kennel was born.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is built around proven performance, not just pedigrees. We hunt, train, and evaluate our dogs, selecting for natural bird sense, cooperation, endurance, health, and temperament. The result is a Llewellin Setter that excels in the field and fits seamlessly into family life.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white, orange belton, liver belton, lemon belton, chestnut, blue belton, and blue belton and tan (tri-color). Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

About Penny
Our Pretty Penny has proven herself time and again on wild bobwhite quail, grouse, snipe, woodcock, pheasants, chukars, and multiple species of ducks, and geese. Penny has earned multiple NAVHDA UT (II) and NA (III) prizes. Currently, as of this writing, Penny has 4 AKC master hunter passes, multiple field trial wins and even more placements. She is only two points away from an AKC FC title. Penny is very special and near and dear to our hearts. She is the foundation of this kennel. She lives to run the fields and point birds with all the style and grace in the world, and is just as happy to snuggle up beside you on the couch at home on a rainy afternoon. Penny is well known in the local bird dog circuits for her special way of hamming it up in the water barrels and sharing her joy with the gallery. She is as steady as they come with a beautiful retrieve to hand all day every day. OFA hips good. Penny’s previous litter already has three NAVHDA NA titled dogs, and two of her offspring have multiple field trial placements. One of those puppies also has a lot of wins under her belt. Penny has a proven track record for herself and the puppies she has raised. About Tank
Tank is as sweet as they come and loves nothing more than to be with his best buddy. From touring the downtown and sampling the local eateries, to coursing through a field to find birds. Tank has multiple field trial placements, has earned a NAVHDA NA prize II title, 4 AKC senior hunter passes, and is developing into a great wild bird dog. He was born with the most efficient and effective search pattern I have ever seen. Tank has OFA good hips and elbows on file, and isn’t even a carrier for any genetic health issues that can presently be tested for. This boy’s water drive has the dial turned all the way up and is an absolute duck search natural with a strong natural retrieve drive. He learns quickly and is always eager to put a smile on everyone’s face. Tank is available for stud service. Chessie has accomplished a lot in her short time on this planet despite 2 very scary occasions involving bites from eastern diamondback rattlesnakes. This girl is tough and a survivor. Chessie has a NAVHDA NA prize II title and already has multiple AKC field trial wins, placements (including in limited stakes), several points under her belt and she has gone 4 for 4 on AKC senior hunter attempts. She’s sweet as can be in the house, and full of fire to fly through the covers to find birds. This girl has a heart that won’t quit and incredible endurance. Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
