  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

Shelly was absolutely wonderful! She always got back to me quickly and gave me every bit of information I will need for our new fur baby! It was such an easy and stress free process, if I ever want another German shepherd, I will definitely go to her! Her dogs are absolutely gorgeous and sweet too, I got to meet the parents and other dogs and they are amazing too! Loved my experience with all of them, everyone there was so friendly and kind. Thanks so much for our new baby Athena! We would be lost without her!! 💜
