Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Nate was extremely responsive, providing weekly updates and pictures of Cider leading up to her arrival at 8 weeks. StoneyBrook Setters are very responsible breeders that provided Cider’s vet check paperwork (including a log of her vaccines/deworming), along with some of her puppy food, and AKC paperwork. Cider is a very easy puppy who is learning how to potty train and crate train very quickly. We love her and she is a wonderful addition to our little family. She loves to play with lots of toys, especially her LambChop toy! We are so happy with the entire process and highly recommend StoneyBrook Setters.

Nate was very responsive to my inquiries and answered all of my questions fully. Found him through Good Dog. Bo is settling in well. He and Colt, our other dog, are getting along okay. Obviously there is some getting used to one another, but nothing to bad. Would recommend Nate and Stonetbrook. Would go to again.

+5Nate was absolutely amazing to work with. The puppy we got was beautiful and well socialized. He immediately began to bond with our Boston Terrier and French Bulldog and they are now a bonded trio.
