Q. & A. with Carrie
Why did you start breeding?
I started when I was 9 yrs training, showing, grooming and learning! I competed for years in both conformation and obedience as well as 4-H growing up. Dogs have always stayed an active part of my life that I continued now 30 plus years later with my own children.
What makes your program special?
We breed for beauty, brains and bloodlines.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Basset Hound puppies include red and white, black tan and white, and black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tater turns 12 weeks old tomorrow. He had his first day of puppy kindergarten yesterday and all the staff were making time to come cuddle him and commenting on how well he is crate and potty trained. Carrie clearly took time socializing the puppies while working on crate training, meeting different people, loving car rides, and gave us a head start on potty training. Carrie’s behavioral assessments were extremely accurate. After discussing my family’s goals for a new family member, Carrie helped us choose the perfect snuggle monster.
