I'm Kelley R., the breeder behind Storybook Doodles located in Coweta, OK. Our doodles are bred for intelligence, health, and companions for families. Our parent dogs are genetically tested and carefully selected to promote sound minds and healthy genetics. We believe every great story begins with an exceptional companion.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up in a family that raised dogs, and caring for and training animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. One of my proudest experiences has been earning therapy dog certification with my poodle, who has spent the last two years serving in a school setting.
What makes your program special?
Storybook Doodles was created from a passion to intentionally breed doodles with the goal of raising and training exceptional companion, therapy, and service dogs that can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kelley

Kelley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kelley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Each Storybook Doodle puppy includes dewclaw removal, first vaccinations, routine deworming, a health guarantee, ICA registration, breeder support, and tote bag filled with puppy necessities. Puppies vary in price: Black Males - $2000; Black Females - $2200; Parti Males - $2500.”

Kelley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Gunner
Our sire is sweet natured, highly intelligent, and has an exceptional temperament that makes him truly one of a kind. After earning his therapy dog certification, he served in a school setting for two years, bringing comfort, connection, and joy to students and staff. We intentionally waited until he was five years old before breeding because we always hoped to keep a puppy from him and wanted to ensure he fully matured into the dog we believed he would become. He comes from impeccable bloodlines and was selected from Storybook Standards of Oklahoma, a breeder known for producing exceptionally sound, well minded poodles. More than his pedigree, what makes him special is who he is every day; gentle, affectionate, eager to learn, and loved by everyone he meets. He is truly the best dog we have ever owned, and we are excited to carry forward the qualities that make him so remarkable.

About Lucy
Lucy is a beautiful blend of the best qualities found in both the Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees. Genetically, she carries the dominant gene responsible for producing richly pigmented black puppies, but what truly makes her special is her personality and temperament. At just two years old, Lucy is incredibly smart, eager to please, and thrives on being with people. She absolutely loves to swim and brings an energetic, playful spirit that reflects her Golden Retriever side, while also carrying the calm, gentle, and nurturing nature so often admired in the Great Pyrenees. Lucy has also been the most incredible mother to her puppies. We believe dogs thrive as part of a family, so Lucy has the freedom to enjoy life in our home rather than being raised in a kennel environment. Her puppies are raised in their own dedicated space in our office where they are surrounded by everyday household sights, sounds, and interactions. Our goal is to help them develop confidence, social skills, and the foundation to transition naturally into life as cherished family companions.
