I'm the breeder behind Stratford Wheatens located in Centennial, CO. Many of our puppies have become exceptional show dogs, and all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends. Our breeding program stands out because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. From researching breeding pairs and conducting health testing, to purposefully raising each pup with proper socialization and care, our goal is to help preserve this historic breed.

Molly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $800 refundable deposit and $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This is for pet quality or show potential as all puppies are raised in the same manner. All puppies are the same price. Each will have been dewormed and will have received the first vaccination. AKC registration is given upon proof of spay/neuter.”

Molly may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Stratford Read All About It
Stratford Read All About It is a female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Molly decided to make her part of their program. Molly has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Protein-Losing Nephropathy (PLN; NPHS1 Gene Variant), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
