I'm Summer L., the breeder behind Summer Sun Doodles located in California City, CA. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding.

Why did you start breeding?
My brother was in a fatal car accident. A few months later, my other brother passed away from pneumonia. I was in a very dark place. I almost felt numb to everything. That next year I got my saving grace, Sonny. Sonny has helped me feel like my life is worth living. He's helped me through the darkest times and he's been there through the good times too! He is my SONSHINE.What makes your program special?
We raise top quality puppies in a loving & caring home environment. All of our dogs are our family first. Their health and happiness comes before any breeding. Our litters are carefully planned & raised on an advanced service dog curriculum. We start all of our puppies on potty, crate and leash training. We complete temperament testing around 6/7 weeks old because it gives each puppy a voice.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Summer is the most caring, responsible and responsive breeder out there. This begins when you secure your spot to when your pup is home and she makes herself available to give you piece of mind with whatever your need is. We have two pups from her litter and they are calm and loved because of her. What she presents on social media is exactly what you see when you visit and the disposition of your dog proves that.
