Why did you start breeding?
I started in Labrador Retrievers in 2004 and got my first Basenji in 2013 as a challenge!
What makes your program special?
We firmly believe in health testing our dogs and ensuring our dogs and puppies are well socialized and trained to be the best they can be!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Theresa
Theresa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“All puppies go home with AKC registration papers, vaccination and health record, and a 6-pound bag of puppy food.
For an additional fee of $200.00 a welcome home package includes an approved crate with pad, 2 stainless steel bowls, leash, and collar, chew toy, ball, rope, nylabones, puppy shampoo, nail clippers, brush, 1-month flea/tick treatment, a toy storage bucket, and homemade treats.
. We do not take deposits until puppies are born.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
