I'm Dawne T., the breeder behind Sunset Ranch and Kennel located in Double Springs, AL. I strive to produce quality puppies that have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, it is my responsibility to prioritize each of my puppies’ overall health and temperament and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for before joining their forever homes. We begin working dog obedience.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It is my passion to responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy and happy puppies so that others can enjoy the gift of living life with a German Shepherd! My primary focus is to produce dogs with solid temperaments, great health, and sound moderate structure. My dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. I prepare all of our pups to excel in life.

  • What makes your program special?

    I cherish all of my animals and enjoy sharing the love of this wonderful breed with other individuals and families! I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.

    Our puppies have plush coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Dawne

Dawne has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Dawne may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
