I'm Natalie T., the breeder behind Sweet Breeze Acres located in Mason, MI. Hello from Sweet Breeze Acres! We are a family of four, living on a farm with lots of awesome animals. Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding dogs in our home in Kentucky actually. We had a litter of German shepherds and never looked back. I was hooked on raising amazing dogs and seeing them go to thrive in wonderful homes. It's so hard to find good dogs with health tested parents, breeder support, and a nice experience. We wanted to give that to people.What makes your program special?
We raise our puppies as part of the daily routine. They are exposed to life on the farm from day one. To exposure to sounds, smells, and a verity of things that help build their confidence. Daily handling of feet, mouths, ears etc. We also love to be part of our adopter's journey and always open to answer questions or help. Our adults are health tested, and you can come meet them if you desire.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our German Shepherd puppies include sable, black, black and red, black and tan, and bi-color. Golden Retriever puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Always giving them things to do, stuff to smell, tastes to try, and loud noises to get used to! We want our puppies to go to their new homes confident and curious about life!

Litter update on 01 Jan •…Can these puppies get any cuter!? AH. This is Sugar, she's so gorgeous I can hardly stand it. 🩷 . My goal today is to try to dig out the camera and get good photos of everybody! They are in such a cute and fun stage right now! . Litter training starts tonight! Yeay! This is such an important stage, but with litter training, I have to be very available to help train them for the next 24 to 48 hours.... If I can do that and be consistent, it all works out so much faster and they pick it up in no time. It's funny how I have to actually schedule the start of their litter training! This is just going to keep their environment so much cleaner, and will help them transition to going potty outside in the future! We use a stall pellet bedding and alfalfa/grass pellets in their litter pan to help absorb and smell like grass outside for transition time! If I do my job right it will make my life easier and keep things more clean! . I'm also itching to start incorporating new fun toys, like swings, balance boards, and chew toys! They are almost to that stage and I'm excited! They will be moved to the kennel soon so they have bigger space to play in and I can get all their new fun toys out. Eventually we will open the doors so they can venture in our outdoor enclosure and learn to use potty in the snow! For now they are cozy in the kitchen and eating and sleeping tons!

Litter update on 28 Dec 2025 •I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Life has been absolutely insane over here and the puppies are growing fast! Enjoy some quick shots of the babies and momma Cece. Hopefully I'll get the camera out in a few days and get some proper pictures of the little potatoes. I'm doing my best to get back to everyone now that the holiday crazy has slowed down. Feel free to reach out if interested or if I haven't gotten back to you!

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Ichthyosis, German Shepherd Type, Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

As first time dog owners, we couldn’t be more pleased. From the time we contacted her we recieved countless updates on the pups and momma, and regular live weigh ins on social media where we got the chance to interact with the pups virtually. She provides lots of enrichment for the puppies, tons of socialization, and she exposes them to so many new things when we got our pup home she was already a champ with loud noises and the vacuum. Even after bringing our puppy home she was open to answering all our questions no matter how silly. She truly cared for these animals. I truly don’t know how she does it all, but I would recommend anyone looking for a new furry friend to go through sweet breeze acres.
