Meet the breeder

I'm Debbie B., the breeder behind Sweetheart Cavapoos located in Silverton, OR. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families. Occasionally, we have adult cavapoos available, feel free to message me to inquire.

Q. & A. with Debbie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I noted a need for healthy, well rounded puppies and wanted to offer a better alternative to those who want one. One who didn't come from a puppy-mill or from businesses that don't put the puppy needs first. I know some very excellent breeders, and some that are not. The Cavapoo gets very attached to their 'people'---which I adore---but not everyone gets one of our puppies. It has to be the right home for each puppy, as our first priority...not the last. We have refused to offer a puppy if it isn't a good placement. Cash is not KING here. We hold ourselves to a high standard and expect no less for each puppy.
  • What makes your program special?

We are very devoted to our own Cavapoos and even more so to their puppies. When we have a litter, they are the focus of everyday until they go home. We make sure their experiences with 'people' are loving, caring, playful and loyal. We think the puppies mirror that. Our parents are DNA tested, and receive the best care possible. Before the puppies leave us, they have gone through many, many socialization opportunities and experiences. We have made constant improvements in order for our puppies be be well-rounded, gentle and social little members for anyone's family. One of my favorite things is to take them to the beach for their first visit and watch them follow mommy and daddy down the sand. Precious...
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, tri-color, and blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Debbie was an absolute delight to work with! From the moment I inquired, all through the learning process and even after we got our puppy home, she was super communicative and helpful. It was so comforting to visit the litter and see the parents to help us make our decision. She has a perfect home environment and does an amazing job at preparing the puppies for their new homes. I recommend her 1000%!!!!
