I'm Loretta P., the breeder behind Synbella's Charming Basset's located in Dutton, AL. All of our puppies are raised in the house they go outside and play which they absolutely love and are around my grandchildren on a daily basis, very good with people, playful and loving. We give first shots/rounds of worming. CKC registered. Mom is CKC-Dad is CKC/AKC registered. Veteran owned.

Why did you start breeding?
Really wanted one from the moment I saw one overseas as a trained K9 with an MP unit. My son purchased my male to train as a PTSD service dog for myself but he took to my husband instead, he triggers if hubs sugar drops to low or goes to high.
What makes your program special?
Our pets are treated like our children, very spoiled. They ride in trucks and cars, enjoys field trips to various spots, we work on leash training to a point, and they walk with us without a leash. Please note DEPOSIT IS NON - REFUNDABLE. No matter circumstances. IF something happens with puppy, as many things are unforeseen no matter how good we take care of them, deposit will be applied towards another puppy or future litter. My pups and parents see their vet more than average to be sure are healthy and stay that way.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include lemon and white and black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Loretta partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hello just wanted to give a small update and shout out to the Basset breed. In the past two months I feel like my family has been literally dragged through the mud and briar patch. From nursing pups back to healthy baby’s to now my mom was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer that has spread to her liver and into the bone at her clavicle we been told we have a month at the most. She asked for one of the minions as she calls the puppies, we let her have wren, let me tell you this puppy has perked her right up. Stays right with her. Loyal sweet breed

I have 3 puppies left the pink colored female, the green colored male and the brown collared male. We unfortunately found that Parvo hits hard and unexpectedly. With dedication and an amazing Veterinarian we saved 3 beautiful babies. They are healthy gaining weight and eating everything in sight including my sandals. Love cuddles and playtime. If you know nothing about the Parvovirus as we didn’t as we had never had to deal with it before, it is quick and silent, you can’t see it and it is everywhere. Has been around since 1972, there is no cure. There is a vaccine, which is why we are so adamant that we keep pups until last shot or the agreement signed that puppy will get that last booster and rabies within 2 weeks of going to new homes. Even at great expense, around the clock care, fluids, medication to ease tiny tummies, you will hold them in your arms until they can’t fight anymore. It is heartbreaking, but here we are with god’s grace I have 3 puppies looking for homes.

I have decided that I want to up my breeder program and have registered and started taking classes for Veterinary Technician, I want to provide the healthiest puppies possible, I have almost finished my 1st semester and have learned so much..

2nd bath today and allowed to play in mommas shed for a bit while pen dries from being cleaned all weighed everyone above 8 lbs

Well decided they needed a warm bath so brought them out to our she shed aka Basset House, where it is about 83-86 degrees turned all the fans they got their 1st warm baths with baby shampoo, now they are taking a nap.

They are gaining weight at a normal pace, eyes open, trying to walk on all fours and bite at each other, so stinking cute. They are even climbing on top of one another and crawling out of the pool, almost time to move them to enclosed play area….

About Mabel
Mabel is so sweet, very loving likes to play and nap alot. Loves to eat and will remind you when it is snack time and bedtime. Is a very good mama to her babies as well. When they go outside she walks them out and plays with all of them, it is adorable to watch.
