I'm Amin Jesse M., the breeder behind Tabor Springs GSD located in Gadsden, AL. We have been living and working with our German Shepherds on our farm for over twenty years. Our goal is to produce well-balanced, long coat and stock coat show line German Shepherd dogs of the correct type with exceptional temperaments. All of our dogs are a much-loved part of our home and family and we want the same for our pups. Puppies are raised hands-on from day one with careful attention to socialization and are available for approved and loving homes only. Why did you start breeding?
We have always loved dogs and were excited to establish our breeding program. We have enjoyed the journey, and focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of our puppies. We are passionate about placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families.What makes your program special?
Our dogs and puppies are our family, and they get the best care and we expect the same from their new companions. We are very conscious about who we rehome our puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible home for them that's complementary to their personality and ability.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
