I'm Barbara S., the breeder behind Tenby located in Boynton Beach, FL. My focus is on maintaining the Sealyham Terrier standards by raising structurally sound puppies with excellent temperaments. I care strongly about health testing and genetic conditions. Sealyham Terriers have proven to be wonderful companions in my life and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.

Why did you start breeding?
I understand the very important role that breeders undertake; that being today’s breeders are the guardians of the future Sealyham Terriers. I breed to not only continue my showing but to ensure the Sealyham Terrier is around for generations to come.What makes your program special?
I am very dedicated to what I do and what I am trying to achieve as a breeder of the Sealyham Terrier. I work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the line. Adhering to the national club standard for all recommended health screening tests is paramount to my dogs’ wellbeing and personal integrity.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing
Excellent level

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
